Capilano Suspension Bridge tickets and tours, compared
Six different things get sold as a way into Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, and only one of them is a ticket. The other five are day tours that carry admission inside the price. I spent four summers working in the park before I went independent, and the mistake I watch people make is paying for transport and a guide they never needed.
With a car, the admission-only ticket is the whole answer
The park ticket is $57 per person and it is timed entry: you pick a slot, you turn up, and it stays valid for one day from first activation. Admission, wi-fi, parking and complimentary same-day luggage storage sit inside that price. No guide comes with it, but the free guided talks run through the year and are included once you are past the gate, with the schedule posted at the entrance.
The park’s own gate price for an adult is CAD $76.95. That is the same admission quoted in Canadian dollars at the window rather than US dollars on a booking site, so treat the two numbers as one decision and not as a discount. What moves your bill is everything around the ticket: parking is CAD $9.00 for three hours at meters that take credit cards only, and a rideshare from downtown runs about CAD $25–30 each way.
The free shuttle is the piece that decides this for a lot of people. It is seasonal, it leaves from Canada Place, the Hyatt Regency and the Blue Horizon Hotel, and it wants proof of admission before it brings you back. When it is running, a tour buys you very little; when it is not, the SeaBus and bus #236 still work. Getting there without a car has the routes and the timings.

Take a morning slot. Weekdays are quieter than weekends through the summer, and the first hours of the day are the only reliable way to cross the bridge without shuffling. Mid-autumn is the quietest decent window, at around 14°C / 57°F.
When a tour is the better buy
One day in the city and no car: the 6.5-hour City, Lookout & Capilano run at $140 collects you from one of roughly 81 downtown hotel points and puts Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park, Granville Island and the Vancouver Lookout deck in front of you before the bridge. Cruise passengers book this one more than any other.
No car and you want the mountain as well: the 7-hour coach at $190 adds the Grouse Mountain Skyride and a stop at Cleveland Dam, and it is the most booked of the combinations. Those three sit on the combo tours page with what each includes.
Small numbers, or a vehicle of your own: the 14-guest tour at $222 and the private car at $432 are covered on the private and small-group page, along with the $198 seaplane, which is 30 minutes over the harbour and then a shuttle to the park.
